
Classical guitarist of Catania, Italy, and student of the wellknown Venezuelan
Maestro Alirio Diaz, Agatino Scuderi studied classical guitar and graduated from
the "Conservatorio N. Piccini" in Bari, Italy.
He continued his studies in Italy and in Spain attending courses of the
Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Sevilla and the Festival Internacional de
guitarra de Cordoba - with Alirio Diaz, Leo Brouwer, Narciso Yepes, America
Martinez, Ruggero Chiesa, Aldo Minnella, Bruno Battisti D'Amario, Eliot Fisk. He
has also attended seminars in musical analysis and composition with Maestro
Alexander Mullembach of Luxembourg, Professor at the "Mozarteum" of Salisburg.
He has won numerous national and international competitions such as S. Giuliano
Milanese, Matera, Locorotondo, Venetico Superiore, Genova, Napoli etc...
In recognition of his accomplishments in the music field, he received the Terry
Pazimiņo
prize in Ecuador.
He has been awarded a "Mencao Honrosa" Prize of the Conservatorio Souza Lima of
San Paolo, Brazil, following the recital in the same Conservatorio.
He is membership of the "World Univerity Roundtable" of Benson, Arizona where
He has been awarded a "Doctorate in the Philosophy of Music".
Many other diplomas of honour have been awarded to him in national tuition
competition.
He has held Master Classes in institutions in Italy and throughout the world,
